Dog Blog Carnival – June 4th 2009

The Dog Blog carnival is coming!! What’s a dog blog carnival? A blog carnival travels the Internet, moving from host site to host site each month. Participants are invited to submit a blog post either on a suggested topic, or they can just submit one of their best posts. The Dog Blog Carnival focuses on posts about dogs, but we have been known to accept posts about cats, and will not turn away posts about other animals.

The dog blog carnival was started this past April by Nancy Houser at www.waycooldogs.com. Twelve bloggers submitted posts to the first carnival invitation, and twenty responded to the second carnival, both of which Nancy hosted. We’re hoping to increase the number of participants and keep the carnival circulating for years to come.

June’s carnival will be hosted by me, Beth Lowell, at my Mysterious Beautiful blog, www.bethlowell.com. Participating in and hosting the dog blog carnival is a great way to meet other dog lovers, attract new readers and learn new things. The blog is open to all bloggers and this month’s topic is ‘The Human-Animal Bond’.

To participate, just send the url address of your blog post to me at beth@bethlowell.com by Saturday May 30. The blog carnival will appear on June 4th here, at www.bethlowell.com. Don’t forget the photos!

If you are interested in hosting a dog blog carnival please contact Nancy@waycooldogs.com.

Looking forward to your posts!

We are currently writing a report into the distress caused by seperating an elderly person from their beloved pet. So your article was themed and interesting. Thank you.
